February is LOVE Month at Bake Up. A time to celebrate love, community, and the people who make our food possible.
This month, we’re hosting a LOVE Month Raffle to support the UFW Foundation, an organization that advocates for farmworkers and immigrant communities across the U.S. and provides critical services and educational outreach to rural communities.
This cause is personal to me. My grandparents were farmworkers in Northern California while my mom was growing up. As a small food business, our work exists because of farmworkers — and supporting their dignity, safety, and rights is something we care deeply about. My Grandma Braulia LOVED Valentine's Day, and her apartment was pretty much decorated as if it was Valentines' Day everyday.

LOVE Month Raffle
We’re raffling off one full-size Strawberry Chocolate Crumb Cake, made with farm-direct strawberries from Gutierrez Farms.

Throughout February, we’re also featuring a lineup of LOVE Month seasonal treats, available at the farmers market and by pre-order through our weekly Hotplate menu drops. Pre-ordering is the best way to guarantee your favorites, as quantities are limited each week.
