About Us

Founded in 2014, Bake Up is a woman-owned and operated bakery in northern Los Angeles county. Started as a cottage food bakery in Acton, Ca, 

Our specialty is scratch-made pastries made with quality ingredients. Each pastry tastes like the high quality ingredients used to make it, rather than just being sweet for sweet's sake. Our products are made with locally-sourced and milled whole grain flour alongside organic unbleached all-purpose flour. Whole grain flours that have been stone-ground retain their natural nutrients, proteins, and FLAVOR. To the extent possible, we use seasonal produce from local farmers (preferably organic/pesticide-free), and make most of our fillings and jams within the store.

Most people know us for our coffee cakes, pop tarts, cookies, vegan bars, and marshmallows.

We'd love to meet you in person on Saturdays at our booth at the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market, 8:30am-1pm.

You can find an assortment of Bake Up pastries in the pastry cases at Sagebrush Cafe in Quartz Hill, both Bodhi Leaf Coffee Bars in Santa Clarita, and Wide Eye Lounge in Santa Clarita.
